Is the DMV open today in Arizona?

In Arizona, driver licensing is handled by the ADOT Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). Its offices close on the state's holiday schedule below — and on weekends. If today isn't one of those, offices run normal business hours.

Dates come from the MVD's own holiday hours page, which lists every day its offices close.

MVD offices stay open on Juneteenth, because Arizona law marks the day but does not make it a state holiday.

MVD says its Authorized Third Party providers are open on many state holidays, so a private office near you may still be able to help.
