Is the DMV open today in Maine?
In Maine, driver licensing is handled by the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV). Its offices close on the state's holiday schedule below — and on weekends. If today isn't one of those, offices run normal business hours.
The BMV says it follows the State of Maine holiday calendar, and every branch closes on those days.
Maine calls the second Monday in October Indigenous Peoples Day, and branches close that day along with the Friday after Thanksgiving.
