Is FedEx running today?
This page last changed August 30, 2026 (UTC) · it carries the 2026 and 2027 dates.
Most days, yes — and FedEx has a third kind of day worth knowing about. Six days a year are full holidays with no pickup and no delivery; a longer list are modified-service days, when deliveries still run but on-call and drop-box pickups go early in some areas. Everything else is an ordinary day. The sign below has already checked today against the FedEx holiday service schedule on your own clock.

The questions people type
Is FedEx running on Saturday?
It varies by location. FedEx Home Delivery runs Saturdays in most areas; Sunday is not a regular service day.
Is FedEx running on Sunday?
No — it isn’t a regular service day. FedEx Home Delivery runs Saturdays in most areas; Sunday is not a regular service day.
Is FedEx running tomorrow?
The next-three-days table on this page answers it. It reads the date off your own device, so "tomorrow" means tomorrow whenever you open the page — and the full 2026–2027 schedule is one click away on the FedEx holiday schedule page.
Does FedEx deliver on federal holidays?
On most of them, yes — as a modified-service day. Deliveries run and the network keeps moving; what changes is pickup, with on-call and drop-box collections going early in some areas. That is how Presidents Day, Columbus Day and Veterans Day work, the days the post office and the banks are shut. Juneteenth is the one federal holiday FedEx treats as an ordinary day, and the six full holidays on its own list are the days nothing is picked up or delivered.
What does modified service actually mean?
That your package still arrives, and that you should not count on a late-day pickup. FedEx no longer splits its holiday list by service, so there is one FedEx status per day — the sign above answers for your shipment whichever way it is travelling.

Two clocks are at work here. The signs and the next-few-days table read the clock on the device you are holding, so they are right whenever you open this page. The stamp above is the other one: the day the wording of this page itself last changed, in UTC. Nothing on this page is frozen to that date.
