Does UPS deliver on federal holidays?
On most of them, yes. Presidents Day, Juneteenth, Columbus Day and Veterans Day are ordinary working days for UPS drivers — pickup and delivery run even though the post office, the banks and every federal office are closed. Good Friday, which closes the markets and no federal office at all, is a working day too. Is anything moving on a day UPS is closed?
UPS Express Critical, the emergency service, runs every day of the year — it is the one way to move a shipment on a day UPS is otherwise shut. Ground Saver and Mail Innovations go the other way: on the holidays that close the Postal Service they take an extra day, because the last leg of both rides with USPS.
